Genie is a heartwarming and hilarious Christmas movie that will make you believe in magic.

Melissa McCarthy stars as Flora, a genie who has been trapped in a box for thousands of years. When she is accidentally released by Bernard, a workaholic who has lost his job and his family, she decides to help him turn his life around by granting his wishes.

Along the way, they encounter a series of adventures, mishaps, and surprises that will make you laugh and cry. Genie is a remake of the 1991 British TV film Bernard and the Genie, written by Richard Curtis, the mastermind behind Love, Actually and Notting Hill.

The film also features a stellar cast, including Paapa Essiedu, Denée Benton, Alan Cumming, and Marc Maron.
